He relies on his strength and a bevy of step-back and side-steps to create just enough space to fire his jumper. Unfortunately, they haven’t been falling and has contributed to poor isolation game.
Milwaukee Bucks’ One-On-One Game Has Major Issues
Given Carter’s lack of a large role on last season’s Bucks team, it’s assumed that part of the conversations this offseason had to have included a larger role for him this season. Even for Portis, having the ability to take the ball up the floor is another useful addition to his game. From the looks of things early in this preseason, it seems Portis will be more versatile on the offensive end this season.
